Registration & Fees
Thank you for supporting your young musician to join music centre.
We appreciate that attending centre requires commitment from you too. SEDMC is a charity who receive funding from Derbyshire Music Hub. We work hard to keep termly fees as low as possible. Please ensure that membership fees are paid promptly on receipt of an invoice or if there is an issue, discussed immediately with the Centre Administrator or Centre Co-ordinator.
Concerts and events form part of our fundraising so your support is vital. Please support your young musician(s) to attend the termly concerts and encourage them to be involved in performance opportunities.
Investing in their musical journey is an investment in all aspects of their lives. If you want to be good at music you need to work for it - the benefits of this spread to every aspect of life.

Rehearsals run for 30 weeks each year, split over three terms.

Each term costs £50 and allows members to access up to three groups on Saturday mornings.

The fees for Schools Orchestras are £40 per term.

Bursaries
As a charity, we want to make music accessible to all, that's why we offer bursaries to: ​
• Members who receive income based free school meals will get a free place.
• Members who have an EHCP will get 50% discount off their fees.
• Families who have more than two members in the centre will receive a 50% discount
off the membership fees for the third family member.
