Registration & Fees
Thank you for supporting your young musician to join music centre.
We know that attending centre requires commitment from you too. SEDMC is a charity that receives funding from Arts Council England via the Derbyshire Music Hub. This support helps us keep our termly fees as low as possible.
Our concerts and events form a vital part of our fundraising. Please support your young musician(s) by helping them attend our termly concerts and encouraging them to take part in all of our performance opportunities.
An investment in your child's musical journey is an investment in their future. Developing and learning musical skills takes practice and focus, but the confidence and discipline they build along the way will support them in everything they do.

Rehearsals run for 30 weeks each year, spread over three terms. ​​

Each term costs £55 and allows members to access up to three groups on Saturday mornings.

The fees for School's Orchestras are £40 per term.

Please ensure that membership fees are paid promptly on receipt of your invoice. Queries can be raised with the Centre Administrator or Centre Coordinator.
Bursaries
As a charity, we want to make music accessible to all, that's why we offer bursaries: ​
• Members who receive income based free school meals will get a free place - we will ask for the FSM Confirmation Letter.
• Members who have an EHCP will get 50% discount off their fees - please ask about what evidence we will need.
• Families who have more than two members in the centre will receive a 50% discount off the membership fees for the third and subsequent family members.
